Paul Brun

Certainly, I can say of myself that I am a kind of “French Bavarian”, because I have lived in the Bavarian capital for many years now. In addition, from the beginning I was fascinated by the Bavarian history. It has many intersections with the French history. This is perfect for my French guests and me as a guide, because there are almost always connections between the two countries.

I have been a cab driver in Munich for what feels like an eternity. I love communication and initially was trained as a “Certified Taxi-Guide of the City of Munich”. This qualification is a very special training here in Munich and, by the examination, ensures that the guests receive first-class city tours and excursions by appropriately trained and tested colleagues. My life continued with the training to become an official tour guide and a licensed guide at the Dachau concentration camp memorial. Proudly I can say that the decision to continue my education in the cultural field was probably one of the best decisions of my life. Finally, I love my profession and I am proud to be a French citizen of this beautiful city of Munich and also to know lots about the history of the city.
